DASU HYDROPOWER CONSULTANTS (DHC) JOBS

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Dasu Hydropower Consultants (DHC) is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions to support the implementation of the Dasu Hydropower Project. This role involves providing technical support to WAPDA on technical, environmental, social, and occupational health and safety aspects of the Project. The positions are based in Dasu, District Upper Kohistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Available Positions:

Senior Contract Engineer
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering recognized by PEC.
Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in hydropower projects.
- 5+ years of relevant expertise in contract management/administration with a strong background in FIDIC Red/Pink Book.
- Skills in contract claims management, variations, and financial management including price adjustments and value engineering.
- Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience working on hydropower projects is desirable.
Senior Procurement Engineer (Civil)
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEC.
Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in procurement.
- Expertise in multilateral development bank (MDB) guidelines, PPRA, and PEC rules.
- Skills in developing bidding documents, qualification criteria, bid evaluation, prequalification, and requests for proposal (RFPs) in compliance with MDB guidelines.
- Experience in managing contractor’s Interim Payment Applications (IPAs), preparation of price adjustments, and commercial proposals.
- Participation in pre-bid meetings, bid opening proceedings, and contract discussion agreements independently.
- Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience working on hydropower projects is desirable.
