MINISTRY OF FEDERAL EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is seeking applications for the following position in the "Establishment of Project Planning & Development Unit (PPDU)" in Islamabad. This position is offered on a contract basis under the PSDP-funded Project staff pay package. The initial contract is for six months and may be extended annually based on satisfactory performance until the project's completion.

Position Details:

1. MIS Specialist
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Pay Scale: PPS-10
   • Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and above
   • Eligibility Criteria:
     • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution (16 years of education).
     • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant domain.
     • Effective problem-solving skills.

Important Instructions:

1. Application Submission: Candidates must submit their application using the Performa available on the Ministry's website. Applications should be sent to the undersigned within 15 days of the advertisement date.
2. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview. Candidates selected for the interview must bring their original documents, along with two attested copies of academic degrees, CNIC, and professional experience certificates, as well as two photographs.
3. Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete or received after the due date will not be considered.
4. Eligibility Cutoff: The cutoff date for determining eligibility in terms of age, qualification, experience, etc., will be the closing date for receiving applications.
5. Job Description/TORs: Detailed job descriptions and eligibility criteria are available on the Ministry's website.
6. Authority Rights: The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process, or increase/decrease the number of positions, at any stage, without assigning any reason.
