IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

1. Observance of General Instructions:

Eligibility of candidates will be determined according to the Commission’s policy outlined in the General Instructions available on the FPSC website. Candidates should review these instructions before applying to ensure compliance.

2. Procedure to Apply:

Online Submission: All applications must be submitted online through the FPSC website www.fpsc.gov.pk.
Editing Applications: Candidates may edit their online applications only once before the closing date to correct any errors or omissions.
Finality of Information: The information provided in the online application form will be treated as final. Subsequent claims of experience or qualifications not mentioned in the online form will be considered invalid.
Syllabus and Admission Certificate: The Commission may post the syllabus for the screening (MCQ) test or written (descriptive) examination on its website. Candidates should frequently visit the FPSC website to review the syllabus and print their Admission Certificate.
Detailed Guidelines: Detailed instructions for applying online are available on the FPSC website.
No Hardcopy Required: No hardcopy of the online application is required. Only online applications submitted by the cut-off date will be processed.
No Manual Applications: Manual applications will not be accepted. Only online applications will be considered.

3. Application Fee:

Fee Structure:
- BS-16 to 17: Rs. 300/-
- BS-18: Rs. 750/-
- BS-19: Rs. 1200/-
- BS-20 and above: Rs. 1500/-
Payment Method: The fee must be deposited on or before the closing date in a Government treasury, a branch of the National Bank of Pakistan, or a State treasury authorized to transact government business, under the head "C02101-ORGANS OF STATE EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY FPSC". Bank drafts, cheques, or postal orders are not acceptable.
Fee Receipt: The original Treasury Receipt (T.R) must be preserved and presented to the supervisory staff at the test or examination center as indicated in the Admission Certificate. Photocopies or bank scrolls are not acceptable.
Submission of T.R: Do not send the T.R to FPSC in advance. Provide it at the time of the test or examination, or when requested.

4. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

The maximum age limit prescribed under the Recruitment Rules may be relaxed according to the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as amended). Details are available in para-6 of the General Instructions on the FPSC website.

5. Shortlisting Criteria for Interview:

Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the Commission's policy as outlined in sections (A, B & C) of the General Instructions.

Documents Required from Candidates

6. Document Submission:

Post-Test Requirements: Candidates who qualify based on test results and merit positions in their respective quotas will be required to submit the following documents within 15 days of receiving a notice from FPSC via post, SMS, or email:
- Two recent photographs
- Matriculation, Intermediate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees
- CNIC
- Experience Certificate(s), if applicable, detailing job nature and description, issued by an authorized officer of the concerned Ministry/Division/Department
- Domicile Certificate
- Departmental Permission Certificate (for government servants)
- Original Treasury Receipt (for non-test cases)
Equivalence Certificates: If claiming an equivalence for any degree, an equivalence certificate issued by the relevant HEC forum must be provided to FPSC to validate the claim.
Experience Documentation: Experience certificates from firms, companies, institutions, organizations, banks, or NGOs will be accepted if they are well-known nationally or internationally, registered/incorporated with the appropriate government department or institution, and have a proper registration or reference number where applicable.
Rejection for Non-Submission: Failure to submit the required documents within the stipulated time, or submitting incorrect/incomplete information, will result in the rejection of the candidature. Candidates are advised to prepare their documents for timely submission.
Eligibility Determination: Submission of documents does not imply that a candidate is shortlisted for an interview. Eligibility will be determined based on the documents submitted and the merit position. Eligibility is assessed up to the closing date.

7. Admission Certificate:

Availability: The Admission Certificate for the Screening/Descriptive Test will be available on the FPSC website www.fpsc.gov.pk a couple of weeks before the exam date. Candidates should frequently check the website for updates.
Notification: Candidates will also be informed through SMS. No information will be sent by post.

8. Conduct of Test:

Mandatory Items: Candidates must bring their original CNIC, Treasury Receipt, and a downloaded copy of the Admission Certificate to the Screening/Written Test.
Treasury Receipt Requirement: Entry to the Examination Hall will be denied without the original Treasury Receipt. Photocopies or bank scrolls are not acceptable. Candidates should keep the original Treasury Receipt safe to avoid entry issues.
Test Schedule: The test for Consolidated Advertisement No. 9/2024 will be conducted as soon as possible after the closing date. The schedule and syllabus will be posted only on the FPSC website www.fpsc.gov.pk. Candidates should frequently visit the website for updates.
Change of Centre: Requests for a change of Examination Centre must be made online at least one month before the examination begins.
