POSITIONS VACANT

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan invites applications from Pakistani Nationals to fill the following positions on a contract basis under the "Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme":

Project Director
- Pay Scale: PPS-10
- No. of Positions: 01
- Salary: Rs. 437,500/- per month (all inclusive)
- Qualifications/Experience:
  - Master’s degree or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
  - Twelve (12) years of relevant experience in a reputable Public/Private Sector organization, including five (05) years in a managerial role.
- Maximum Age: 55 years
Technical Monitoring Officer
- Pay Scale: PPS-8
- No. of Positions: 01
- Salary: Rs. 218,750/- per month (all inclusive)
- Qualifications/Experience:
  - Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years) preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
  - Five (05) years of relevant experience in a reputable Public/Private Sector organization, including five (05) years in managerial/projects handling roles.
- Maximum Age: 50 years

Important Notes:

Experience must be gained after obtaining the required qualification.
Applicants must apply online through the HEC website at https://careers.hec.gov.pk. Hard copies of CVs and documents are not required.
Tests/Interviews for candidates residing outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region will be conducted via audio/video conferencing at the nearest locations (Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, or Peshawar).
An application processing fee of Rs. 600/- must be deposited online in HEC's account (A/C No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Ltd), and the receipt should be uploaded on the HEC website.
Government employees should apply through the proper channel. Five (05) years of general age relaxation is already included. Further age relaxation will be provided as per Government rules.
Experience as part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internship (as part of study) will not be considered.
Selectees can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
HEC reserves the right to reject any or all applications, and to increase or decrease the number of vacancies as required.
