RECRUITMENT OF SOLDIERS IN PAKISTAN ARMY

Serve your country and nation by joining the Pakistan Army as a soldier.

Recruitment Period:

Registration and recruitment will take place from September 2, 2024, to November 22, 2024.

Eligibility and Requirements:

Eligibility: Pakistani citizens, including residents of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, both married and unmarried males.
Positions Needed:
- Soldier General Duty
- Soldier Technical Trade
- Soldier Military Police
- Soldier Driver
- Soldier Clerk
- Soldier Cook
- Soldier Sanitary Worker

Age Limit:

General Posts: 17.5 to 23 years as of November 30, 2024.
Sanitary Worker: 17.5 to 35 years as of November 30, 2024.

Educational Qualifications:

Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Military Police: Minimum Matric or higher. For candidates from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s merged districts, and children of martyrs, a minimum of Middle is required.
Soldier Technical Trade: Minimum Matric with Science (Grade C). Higher qualifications are preferred.
Soldier Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (Grade C). For candidates from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's merged districts, and Gilgit-Baltistan, a minimum of Intermediate (Grade D) is required. Computer diploma holders and those with higher education will be given preference.
Soldier Cook: Graduate or higher. For candidates with cooking experience, a one-year age relaxation is provided. Minimum education is Middle.

Age Relaxation:

Children of Martyrs, War Wounded Families, and those with a Driving License: Up to 2 years of age relaxation.
Candidates from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's merged districts: Up to 3 years of age relaxation.

Height Requirements:

Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Technical Trade: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
Soldier Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
Soldier Clerk: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
Sanitary Worker: Minimum Primary education level.

Minority Quota:

A specific quota is reserved for minorities.

Required Documents:

Original certificates with two verified photocopies
Four passport-sized photographs
Computerized National Identity Card
Domicile and State Subject Certificate (for candidates from Azad Kashmir)
Height relaxation of up to 2 inches is available for candidates from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s merged districts, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Selection Process:

Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from September 2, 2024, to November 22, 2024. Online registration is not mandatory; candidates can also register in person at Army Selection and Recruitment Offices or Regimental Centers during this period. The selection process includes various stages of testing.
