Qualification: BA/BSc with 2nd Division or equivalent; Six months mandatory computer course

Quota: Open Merit (58%), Sons of Railway Employees (20%, including 2% for deceased employees), Ex-servicemen (10%)

Additional Quotas:

5% for Minorities/Non-Muslims

5% for Orphans/Destitute

2% for Disabled Persons (where applicable)

Instructions for Candidates:

Eligibility: Applicants must be permanent residents or possess domicile of the area/region for which they are applying. Details of jurisdiction are available on the Pakistan Railways website.

Application Form: Download from the Pakistan Railways website (www.pakrail.gov.pk). Submit the completed form via email to cpo@pakrail.gov.pk, along with attested copies of educational documents, CNIC, domicile, two passport-size photographs, and three stamped postal envelopes.

Submission: Send the documents via registered mail or courier to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.

Selection Criteria: Candidates will be assessed based on a written test (70%) and an interview (30%).

Age Limit:

General: 18-25 years, with relaxations as specified for various categories including scheduled castes, ex-servicemen, government servants, disabled candidates, and children of deceased civil servants.

Last Date: Applications must be received by 28.08.2024, 5:00 PM.

Additional Information: No TADA will be provided. Selected candidates must pass a medical examination, security clearance, and undergo specified training. Candidates found with fraudulent documents will have their appointments canceled and may face legal action.
