SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC), established in 2001 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan, serves as the operational arm of the State Bank. It manages currency and foreign exchange operations, provides banking services to the government, financial institutions, and the general public, and performs various other functions including the sale and purchase of prize bonds, prize money draws, and national saving instruments. Headquartered in Karachi, SBP BSC operates through a network of 16 Field Offices across Pakistan.
To support our ongoing organizational development and strengthen our human resources, SBP BSC invites applications from talented Pakistani/AJK nationals for the position of Officer Grade-1 (OG-1). Position: Officer Grade-1 (OG-1) - 10th Batch
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with 14 years of education in any discipline from universities/institutes recognized by HEC or reputable foreign universities. If the degree is from a foreign institution, an equivalence certificate from HEC must be provided at the time of the interview. Candidates awaiting final results as of the application deadline are not eligible. Individuals with a Bachelor's/Master's Degree exceeding 14 years of education will not be considered.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 24 years as of the application deadline.
- Age limit relaxed by 3 years for candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
- For existing employees of SBP or its subsidiaries, the age limit is relaxed by 5 years, provided other eligibility requirements are met.
Pre-Induction Training:
Training: Selected candidates will undergo residential theoretical training at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad. Successful completion of this training will lead to appointment as Officer Grade-1 at SBP BSC.
Stipend: During the training period, trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 24,500 along with free boarding and lodging at NIBAF. Existing SBP BSC employees will continue to receive their usual emoluments plus any admissible daily/incidental allowances for the training period.
Post-Training Compensation: Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed as Officer Grade-1 with a consolidated salary of Rs. 49,000 per month, plus other perks and benefits as per Bank's rules.
