Actuarial Training Scheme
State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, the largest life and health insurance organization in the country, offers an exceptional career opportunity for Intermediate and A-Level students, or those with equivalent qualifications, through its Actuarial Training Scheme. This scheme provides a pathway to becoming a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, USA or the Institute of Actuaries, UK—both globally recognized and highly valued qualifications.
What State Life Offers:
- Stipend: A monthly stipend of PKR 20,000 will be provided during the two-year training period.
- Job Offer: Upon successful completion of the two-year training (i.e., passing two subjects of the Institute of Actuaries or two exams of the Society of Actuaries), a permanent position as an Executive Officer will be offered, along with an attractive salary and benefits.
- Career Growth: Further actuarial exams will facilitate accelerated career progression and salary increments. Study leaves (holidays) will be granted, and financial support for course and examination fees will be provided.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Intermediate with at least 75% overall marks and a minimum of 80% in Mathematics, or
- At least five O-level passes including English Language or Literature, with a minimum of two A-level passes (one of which must be Mathematics with a minimum of grade A or B in Mathematics).
- Age Limit:
- Between 16 and 20 years of age as of the date of this advertisement.
- For regular employment within the corporation after achieving the required qualifications, the minimum age is 18 years.
