Terms and Conditions

Application Submission: Candidates must apply online within 14 days of the publication of this advertisement. Applications sent by hand, courier, or email will not be accepted.
Incomplete Applications: Candidature may be canceled if the information provided is incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent.
Modification of Posts: The Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts or the recruitment process at any stage.
Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be provided as per Federal Government rules.
Government Employees: Existing government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department during the interview.
TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the test/interview.

Written Test & Interview

Test: A written test will be conducted by the Education Testing Council (ETC) in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Candidates will be informed about the test details by ETC.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat.

How to Apply/Register for the Test

Online Registration:
- Interested candidates must register online at ETC HEC Portal. Ensure to complete the registration process by clicking the "SUBMIT" button before 4 PM on the registration closing date specified on the portal.
Correct Information:
- Enter all required information accurately. Avoid using mobile numbers that have been ported from another network.
Submission of Application:
- Applications submitted by hand, courier, or email will not be accepted. Ensure that your application is fully submitted online.
Eligibility Confirmation:
- Confirm that you meet all eligibility criteria for the position you are applying for before attending the test.
Fee Payment:
- Pay the test fee through the 1 Link/1 Bill Invoice payment system using the generated consumer number. After payment, verify the transaction on the ETC Dashboard. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Email/SMS Notifications:
- You will receive an email/SMS with the details of the exam date, time, and venue. Ensure you provide a valid email/mobile number. Note that SMS may not be sent to numbers that have been ported from one network to another.
Troubleshooting:
- If you face issues during registration, visit HEC Online Help, or contact the HEC Secretariat or regional offices for assistance.
Queries/Complaints:
- Resolve any issues or complaints before the registration portal closes. The system will not handle queries or complaints after the registration deadline due to logistical and security reasons.
Test Day Requirements:
- Bring the original CNIC or Passport and the Roll No. slip issued by ETC (either via email or downloaded from your portal). Without these, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Prohibited Items:
- Do not bring any mobile phones, calculators, recording devices, or imaging devices into the test center. Sharing or uploading images of the test materials is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties as per ETC-HEC rules.
