Positions and Qualifications:

Director IET (BPS-20)
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ACMA or 2nd Class Master’s Degree (preferably in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance) from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: Relevant experience in a government/semi-government/autonomous body or a reputable national/international organization.
- Age Limit: 50 years
Director (IT) (BPS-20)
- Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, IT or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: 17 years’ relevant experience in technical planning, designing, and implementation of IT systems, with at least 4 years in BPS-19 or equivalent. Certifications like OCP, CCNA preferred.
- Age Limit: 50 years
Chief Security Officer (BPS-19)
- Qualification: Retired Commissioned Officer from Pak Army with a good service record.
- Experience: 12 years' experience in a relevant field.

Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) (BPS-20)
- Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: 10 years of teaching/research experience or 5 years post-PhD experience with at least 10 research publications.

Director Administration (BPS-20)
- Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: 17 years' administrative experience in Grade-17 or above, with 4 years in BPS-19 or equivalent.

- Qualification: 2nd Class B.Sc. Civil Engineering or BS Civil Engineering (4 years) from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: 17 years of relevant experience in Grade 17 or above, including 12 years in BPS-18 or above.

Important Points:

Online Application: Candidates for BPS-05 and above must apply online through the AIOU Job Portal at careers.aiou.edu.pk.
Application Submission: No hard copy applications are accepted. However, candidates must bring original certificates/fee challan for verification during the written test/interview.

Positions for BPS-02: Applications should be submitted in hard form with a paid fee challan to the HRD Section, Registrar Department, AIOU, H-8, Islamabad.
Eligibility: Determined as per AIOU services statutes 1978 (amended upto April 2022) and AIOU Recruitment Rules 2022.
Posting: Selected candidates may be posted to any AIOU Regional Center within their province.
Age Relaxation: Age limit relaxation as per Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993 (amended).
Proper Channel: Applicants currently employed in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels and obtain NOC & service certificates.
