FEDERAL WATER MANAGEMENT CELL, MINISTRY OF FOOD SECURITY & RESEARCH, GOVT OF PAKISTAN

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for various positions under the project "Prime Minister's National Program for Solarization of Agriculture Tubewells" on a contract basis. The positions are based in Islamabad at the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Federal Water Management Cell (FWMC), Ministry of National Food Security & Research. Contracts are initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Positions and Qualifications:

Project Director (PPS-10)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institute, and registered with PEC.
- Experience: 16 years, including 5 years in management of large-scale public sector projects in water/agriculture/renewable energy.
- Age Limit: 40-63 years
Deputy Project Director (PPS-9)
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Master's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, MBA, Project Management from an HEC-recognized institute.
- Experience: 12 years, including 3 years in planning & implementation of renewable energy/solar-based irrigation system projects.
- Age Limit: 35-50 years
Deputy Director Admin & Finance (PPS-8)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Master's Degree in Accounts & Finance, MBA (Finance), Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or equivalent from HEC-recognized institutes, or ACA/ACMA/ACCA. Preference for PIPFA Certification.
- Experience: 10 years in Admin and Finance matters of the public sector.
- Age Limit: 35-50 years
Water Management Engineer (PPS-8)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: BSc in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or relevant field from an HEC-recognized institute, and registered with PEC. Preference for a Master’s Degree.
- Experience: 10 years, including 2 years in design, estimation, and implementation of renewable energy/solar-based irrigation systems.
- Age Limit: 35-50 years
Deputy Director M&E (PPS-8)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, MBA, Project Management, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
- Experience: 10 years in Monitoring & Evaluation, with 5 years in M&E and reporting in the relevant sectors.
- Age Limit: 35-50 years
Assistant Director IT (PPS-7)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a relevant field with professional certification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 30-45 years
Database Administrator (PPS-7)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Database Management, or equivalent. Certification in Database Administration preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in large-scale database management.
- Age Limit: 30-45 years
Accountant (PPS-6)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: B.Com/BS in Accounting and Finance from an HEC-recognized institute, ACCA (first 9 papers with articles), CMA (managerial level), CA (AFC & CAF with articles) or equivalent. Preference for PIPFA Certification.
- Experience: 5 years in the public sector.
- Age Limit: 30-45 years
Computer Operator/Assistant (PPS-5)
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in working with public/private organizations. Knowledge of computer hardware & software handling, record keeping, and office assistance.
- Age Limit: 25-40 years
Accounts Assistant/Cashier (PPS-5)
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years in accounts and AGPR-related matters.
- Age Limit: 25-40 years
Dispatch Rider (PPS-1)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: Matric with a valid driving license.
- Experience: 1 year as a dispatch rider in government/semi-government or private organization.
- Age Limit: 20-35 years
Naib Qasid (PPS-1)
- No. of Posts: 20
- Qualifications: Matric.
- Experience: 1 year in a relevant field.
- Age Limit: 20-35 years
Driver (PPS-1)
- No. of Posts: 7
- Qualifications: Matric with a valid driving license.
- Experience: 2 years in a relevant field.
- Age Limit: 20-35 years
Chowkidar (PPS-1)
- No. of Posts: 6
- Qualifications: Matric.
- Experience: 1 year in a relevant field.
- Age Limit: 20-35 years
Sweeper (PPS-1)
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualifications: Primary.
- Experience: 1 year in a relevant field.
- Age Limit: 20-35 years

General Instructions:

The general recruitment policy of the Establishment Division will apply.
Positions are on a contract basis with the possibility of extension based on performance.
