The Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) invites applications from qualified professionals for the position of Project Director for its ongoing and under-construction hydropower projects. The vacancies are for the following projects:

300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project in District Balakot
69 MW Lawl Hydropower Project in District Chitral
Rehabilitation of 17 MW Ranolla HPP in District Kohistan

Positions Available:

Project Director, 300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project
Grade: MPS-15
Project Director, 69 MW Lawl HPP and 17 MW Ranolla Rehabilitation HPP
Grade: MPS-15

Qualifications, Experience, and Salary:

For 300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project:

Qualification: At least a 2nd class Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) from an HEC-recognized university, registered with PEC.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Engineering/Project Management and implementation, including at least 3 years in a senior management role (BPS-13 or equivalent) in hydropower projects.
Age Limit: Maximum 63 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
Salary: Market-based salary and remuneration will be offered.

For 69 MW Lawl HPP and 17 MW Ranolla Rehabilitation HPP:

Qualification: At least a 2nd class Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) from an HEC-recognized university, registered with PEC.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Engineering/Project Management and implementation, including at least 3 years in a senior management role (BPS-19 or equivalent) in hydropower or other engineering projects.
Age Limit: Maximum 63 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
Salary: Market-based salary and remuneration will be offered.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on the criteria approved by the PEDO Board. PEDO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any/all posts at any stage of the recruitment process.
Project-Based Appointment: The appointment will be on a contract basis, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance, until project completion. Posts are project-specific and will be abolished upon project completion.
