Announcement of Free Diploma Course for Laboratory Technicians

Commitment to Access to Technical Education for a Brighter Future

In collaboration with the Provincial Health Department, PPHI Sindh is pleased to announce a free diploma course in Laboratory Technology for dedicated students. This program, "Redefining Primary Healthcare," offers a rare opportunity for those interested in starting their careers as Laboratory Technicians by acquiring essential skills and a diploma at no cost.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Must have completed Matriculation with Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) with at least 60% marks, or equivalent Pre-Medical qualifications, from a recognized board.

2. Age Limit:

   • Candidates must be between 18 and 34 years old.

3. Residency:

   • Must be a domicile of Sindh.

 

Important Instructions:

1. Selection Process:

   • Admission will be based on merit. Candidates from the relevant or nearby districts will be given preference. Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

2. Attendance Requirement:

   • Candidates must ensure a minimum of 90% attendance in the course. If any candidate fails to complete the course, they will be required to pay the full course fee.

3. Final Exam:

   • Candidates must appear for the exam conducted by the Sindh Medical Faculty upon completion of the training. Adherence to the rules and policies set by the Sindh Medical Faculty is mandatory.

4. Application Submission:

   • Interested candidates should submit their applications along with a CV, a copy of their CNIC, and educational certificates to the relevant district offices listed below.

How to Apply:

1. Obtain the Application Form:

   • The application form is available at the district laboratories listed below or can be downloaded from the relevant PPHI Sindh website if available.

2. Prepare Required Documents:

   • Completed Application Form
   • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
   • Copy of CNIC (National Identity Card)
   • Educational Certificates (Matriculation with Science or equivalent)

3. Submit Your Application:

   • Submit the completed application form along with the required documents to the nearest District Laboratory office. Ensure you submit your application to the office corresponding to your residence or the district closest to you.

4. Submission Deadline:

   • Ensure your application is submitted by September 23, 2024.

5. Important Notes:

   • Interviews: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
   • Attendance: If selected, you must maintain at least 90% attendance throughout the course.
   • Fee Requirement: In case of non-completion of the course, you will be required to pay the full course fee.
