State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), the largest life and health insurer in the country, is seeking dynamic and result-oriented professionals for various positions on a three-year contract basis, extendable based on performance. The positions are based in Karachi, and SLIC is committed to meeting the needs of its policyholders and extending the benefits of insurance to all sections of society.

Available Positions:

  1. Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Board Secretariat

    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: MBA, M.Com, MPA, LLB, or equivalent from a reputable HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in legal and corporate governance. Chartered Secretary certification preferred.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Prepare board agendas, minutes, and papers; ensure compliance with legal requirements; provide legal, financial, and strategic advice; monitor regulatory changes.
  2. Manager - Board Secretariat

    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: BS/BBA/LLB or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in corporate governance, secretarial, or legal roles. Chartered Secretary certification preferred.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Organize board and committee meetings; coordinate logistics; record proceedings and prepare minutes; assist with routine operations.
  3. Manager - Communication Strategist

    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: MBA/M.Com/MPA or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: Minimum 5-6 years in communication roles. Experience in event planning and proficiency in communication software (Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics) preferred.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Develop strategic communication plans; oversee communication projects; plan and manage events; compose and edit various communication materials.
  4. Deputy Manager - Digital Media Officer

    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: BBA/B.Com/BS/BCS or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in digital media with strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, and digital analytical tools.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Develop and implement digital media strategies; manage social media platforms; enhance brand awareness; track digital campaigns and performance.
  5. Deputy Manager (on contract)

    • No. of Posts: 3
    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: LLB from an HEC-recognized university (LLM preferred).
    • Experience: 5 years of active practice as an Advocate of the High Court. Must be registered with the Bar Council.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Provide legal guidance, monitor litigations, vet documents, and prepare reports.
  6. Assistant Manager (on contract)

    • No. of Posts: 4
    • Max Age Limit: 45 years
    • Qualifications: LLB from an HEC-recognized university (LLM preferred).
    • Experience: 3 years of active practice as an Advocate of the High Court. Must be registered with the Bar Council.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Draft/vet policy documents, handle court cases, and prepare reports.
  7. Executive Officer (on contract)

    • No. of Posts: 1
    • Max Age Limit: 35 years
    • Qualifications: LLB from an HEC-recognized university (LLM preferred).
    • Experience: 2 years of active practice as an Advocate. Must be registered with the Bar Council.
    • Role & Responsibilities: Coordinate legal advice, handle general operations legal issues, and maintain records of court cases.

 

General Instructions:

  • Application Process:

    • Obtain the application form and prescribed test fee deposit slip from the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS) website.
    • Pay the test fee of Rs. 810/- at any UBL or HBL branch.
    • Submit the completed application form along with the original fee deposit slip to "Pakistan Testing Service Head Quarter, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazl-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad" within 15 days from the date of this advertisement.
  • Important Notes:

    • Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
    • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews.
    • TA/DA will not be provided for the test/interview.
    • Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
