VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Punjab Public Service Commission is inviting applications for the following posts:

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Assistant Director (Public Relations)

   • Qualification: M.A. in Journalism/Mass Communication from a recognized university.
   • Experience: 3 years of practical experience in the relevant field.
   • Age: 25 to 35 years (plus 5 years for males, 8 years for females/transgender).

2. Assistant Director (Estate Management)

   • Qualification: Law Graduate, preferably with 2 years of practice experience.
   • Experience: Administrative experience post-qualification.
   • Age: 25 to 35 years (plus 5 years for males, 8 years for females/transgender).

3. Sub Divisional Officer

   • Qualification: B.Sc. in Engineering (Civil) from a recognized university.
   • Experience: 5 years in the relevant field.
   • Age: 25 to 35 years (plus 5 years for males, 8 years for females/transgender).

4. Research & Statistical Officer

   • Qualification: Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration.
   • Experience: Relevant experience post-qualification.
   • Age: 25 to 35 years (plus 5 years for males, 8 years for females/transgender).

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/TEST

All positions will require a one-paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus includes:

• Qualification Related Questions (80%)
• General Ability (20%): General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, English, Urdu, Basic Mathematics, Everyday Science, Basic Computer Studies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Deputy Director (Strategy & Policy):

   • Qualification: M.Phil. in Public Policy or Environmental Sciences.
   • Experience: 7 years in the relevant field.
   • Age: Male, Female: 28 to 35 + 5 = 40 Years; Transgender: 28 to 35 + 8 = 43 Years.
   • Domicile: All Punjab Basis.
   • Posting: Lahore.

2. Deputy Director (Climate Change):

   • Qualification: Same as above.
   • Experience: 7 years in the relevant field.

3. Assistant Director (Environmental Economics):

   • Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering or related field.
   • Experience: 5 years in the relevant field.
   • Age: Male, Female: 21 to 30 + 5 = 35 Years; Transgender: 21 to 30 + 8 = 38 Years.

4. Assistant Director (Sustainable Development):

   • Qualification: Same as above.
   • Experience: 5 years in the relevant field.

5. Assistant Director (State of Environment):

   • Qualification: B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering or related field.
   • Experience: Relevant experience as required.
   • Age: Same as above.

EXAMINATION SYLLABUS:

• The syllabus for the written examination will be provided later.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Application Fee: Read the instructions regarding application fee, written test, and interview on the PPSC website www.ppsc.gop.pk before applying online.
2. Age Concession: Federal Government employees and those from Autonomous Bodies are not entitled to age concession for their service period.
3. Equivalence Certificate: Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide a certificate from HEC at the time of the interview.
4. Experience Verification: Proof of registration for private firms must be presented at the time of the interview.
5. NOC/DPC: In-service candidates must obtain a No Objection Certificate from their department.
6. Documentation: Provide marks or percentage certificates at the time of interview; CGPA is not acceptable.
7. No Fresh Applications: No fresh applications will be invited if the number of posts changes.
8. Fee Payment: Pay fees through designated online channels only.
